I AM COMING TO YOU this season with a special word from the Lord. This is a season to give thanks to God for His glorious Gospel and what it means to our broken world. The Lord is stirring in me the word “ACTION.” Yes, giving thanks requires action, but there is more. This is an evangelism, training, publishing, and equipping ministry. Our message and our focus has not changed in 77 years. JESUS is our focus and His GOSPEL is our message. Literally millions of people – in over 100 nations – have been transformed by our Gospel actions. Now, it’s time for you to ACT. The priority of every Christian is to make Jesus known. This is soul winning. Friend, your GIVING ACTION is converted into SOULS. I remember a man who came to our Festival in Kikwit. He said, “I am known as an evil man, taking drugs and abusing my wife and children. But today I have heard about Jesus and His power. It’s true! Miracles are proof that God confirms His word and that Jesus is not dead, but is alive! We have witnessed the undeniable wonders of God. He heals the sick. He restores broken bodies. He raises the dead. Historians record that we have seen more miracles than any family that has lived. I cannot verify that, but I can testify that we have hundreds of thousands of photographs of miracles – proof that the message of the Gospel is true. Let’s give thanks. And ACT NOW for more miracles.
The lasting influence of the Osborn Ministries is due to our foundational purpose to EQUIP OTHERS to continue Christ’s ministry. This was Jesus’ pattern and it works! There are two ways that I think about Legacy. First, I am thankful for the life-ministry-influence of my legendary parents, Dr. T.L. Osborn and Dr. Daisy Washburn Osborn. To my knowledge, no couple has done more to bring the Gospel to the unreached with effectiveness for six decades. I am part of their legacy, along with tens of thousands of Gospel ministers around the world whom my parents inspired. Second, I am thankful for the Jesus-legacy that He passed on to His followers. Each of us in Gospel ministry is flowing in the Jesus-legacy of hope and healing to the world. That’s you and that’s me! Let’s give thanks.
