As a child, most of our family Christmases were not celebrated around decorated trees hovering over brightly wrapped packages. Carols were not filling the atmosphere with the traditional sounds of the season.
December in much of the world is the ideal time for outdoor, mass miracle evangelism among the unreached. So our family Christmases were celebrated by joining the angelic chorus, announcing to hurting people that “A savior has been born for YOU!” There is no greater message. There is no more worthwhile activity. The world is still waiting to hear the glad tidings of GREAT JOY that is for everyone!

The needs of people have not changed. The power of the Gospel has not diminished. The announcement of good news still brings hope to hurting people. The gift of Christ is not tarnished. A Star – A Song is Born and His coming must be announced to the ends of the earth!
