The providential plan of God was at work when Evangelist E.M. Dillard came to the Osborn farm to ask Charles Osborn if 15-year-old Tommy could travel with him to play music in the Dillard revivals.
Following the Great Depression, living from a small farm was not easy. Even with seven sons, the work was endless, to feed a family of fourteen. It is a miracle that Charles, my grandfather, allowed my father to leave the farm.
This is the beginning of a saga of learning and romance that carried T.L. and Daisy Osborn all the way to India in 1945.
