Healing Words

I remember the day when my father (Dr. T.L. Osborn) came to my office and said to me, “Daughter, do you know that God has given people the creative power of words?” He went on to discuss the nature of God, His creative and living words, the shaping power of words, and the gift that God gave His human creation to speak words that heal. Yes, I knew that there is power in the Word of God and that when we speak God’s words, we are casting His will among the people, planting the seeds that produce healing and change. But on that day, I felt a fresh revelation concerning the power that every believer has to bring healing within their spheres of influence.

Whenever I open my mouth, I’m aware that WORDS CAN HEAL. I am often invited to speak to nations via radio or television, such as was the case in Liberia. People responded with questions and requests for prayer. They expressed hope and faith in the good words of Jesus Christ.

While in South Africa, I was interviewed on the radio. A man listening believed when I prayed, and he was healed of HIV. He traveled to our Festival of Faith and Miracles in Soshanguve to give his testimony and to present to me his medications. The clinic tests confirmed that he was completely healed. I had not touched him. I had not spoken to him personally. Nevertheless, the TRUE WORDS OF JESUS BROUGHT HEALING. THE MAN WAS HEALED OF HIV.
