THE YEAR THAT I was born (1947) my parents began proclaiming and demonstrating the MIRACLE life of Jesus to people on every continent. This month, as I celebrate my 79th Birthday, I am reflecting on our travels as a family, living among the unreached peoples of so many cultures and religions. The climates changed, the languages changed, the faces changed – but the miracles have always remained the same. The truth is simple: the things that are imPOSSIBLE with people, become POSSIBLE with God!
MIRACLES FOLLOW THE GOSPEL MESSAGE
THE BEGINNING OF every miracle is the Word of God. God has chosen words and testimonies as His conduit to reach our world. No matter where that world may be, this truth remains unchanged: “Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever.” (Hebrews 13:8 NKJV).
Wherever the Gospel is preached, we can expect miracles to follow. When the Gospel is communicated with simplicity and clarity, we can trust its power. Scripture reminds us that the Gospel “… is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes …” (Romans 1:16 NKJV).
JESUS IS ALIVE
AFTER MORE THAN half a century of mass miracle evangelism, I have personally witnessed tens of thousands of miracles. I often echo my father’s words: Never forget the miracles! Jesus is alive!
It is the miracles that convince atheists, skeptics and people of other religions that Jesus Christ is truly the Son of God and that He is alive today.
