Every evangelism mission that God opens to Osborn Ministries International is divinely timed and supernaturally confirmed. Once again, this is the unfolding drama of the Porto Novo, Benin Mission.
After nearly 70 years of Gospel ministry, we continue to present Christ to those who do not know Him, in ways that can be understood, allowing Him to confirm His resurrection by many infallible proofs.
During the two-week mission of Dr. LaDonna C. Osborn and her team, hundreds of pastors and church leaders are taught biblical truths and trained in Christ-centered, miracle ministry. Thousands of Christian believers from churches across the capital city of Porto Novo are mobilized to do the work of Christ among people in their own communities.
Tens of thousands of people turn from their lives of empty religion or voodoo worship, to the living, loving Savior. Many amazing miracles of healing testify to the truth in the Gospel message as Jesus demonstrates His love and compassion to the people.
See the scenes of the people, their lifestyle and their response to the Gospel. Observe the spiritual hunger and intensity with which the people receive the message of Christ. Participate through faith that the Osborn Gospel books distributed will produce ongoing harvests of new believers. Rejoice over each miracle healing and testimony of a changed life.
Partner with us in these missions to those who deserve to know that they are loved by the God of Creation and Salvation. We Need Your Help!
Prior to our departure, Pastor Chyanna Mull-Anthony of International Gospel Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma, prays for the Benin Mission Team: My Husband, Cory Nickerson, Sandy Ask and Rev. Kim Oakley.
Our hotel is simple, yet very neat & clean. On the streets of Porto Novo, it is common to purchase gasoline in a bottle.
On the first day of our Gospel Seminar, we arrive at the seminar venue where the pastors are ready to receive instruction in Gospel truths. With the assistance of my interpreter, Pastor Bruno, I present a systematic overview of biblical truths that are vital to the Christian believer.Pastors sit under the makeshift tents, listening with great interest to the anointed teaching.
My husband, Cory, is working with the committee here, and and in addition, he stays very busy capturing on camera God’s work in Porto Novo. The heavy dust in the air is indicative of the dry season that is necessary for public outdoor evangelism events. The Festival of Faith and Miracles begins in six days.
Sandy Ask, my sister-in-law, is experiencing an Osborn event for the first time. My brother, Tommy Osborn Jr., Passed in 1978 but Sandy has raised their children to love the Lord and serve Him.
I teach the pastors that “Until we understand God’s original plan, we cannot understand the devastating results of sin, the work of Christ at the cross nor the transforming power of the new birth.” These pastors have come to the seminar to learn, intrigued by the decades of effective ministry by the Osborn family.
Day 2 of our Gospel Seminar begins, and I continue to unfold the story of the Bible to reveal Christ.
The wind has been relentless, and it begins to buffer the our Gospel Seminar tent so badly that the tent poles begin dancing on the concrete floor. Men are dispatched to make repairs. Wind & dust are to be expected when you minister outdoors in West Africa this time of year.
A worship team leads the people in joyful giving.
This is the fertile field of leaders in whom we are planting these faith-building Gospel books.
We bring instructions and books that will equip and empower the pastors & believers so that they will no longer feel victimized by the voodoo religion in Benin and the intimidation that it has held over the citizens of this great nation. Thanks to our Osborn Partners, the pastors and the believers will now know the power of Christ working in and through each one of them.
As our mission team travels around this city many shops are seen on the roadway. There is a lane just for motorcycles along the road to Cotonou. Vendors & motorbikes are everywhere
The young learn the necessity of work very early in life in Benin
