WIN Talk – November 6, 2022 6:30 pm CST – Facebook: Women’s International Network (WIN)
At one time or another, every person experiences the loss of a friend or loved one, or a circumstance that causes deep grief. While the Bible teaches that Christians do not mourn as others do, we still grieve. Join Pastor Dr. Chyanna Mull-Anthony and Bishop Dr. LaDonna Osborn and their guests, Sandy Johnson and Brenda Stroud, as they share their personal journey of loss and how they overcame and pressed on to a new reality. Meet us on November 6, 2022 at 6:30 pm CST on Facebook.com/WINTulsa.
I was born again at the age of twenty-five in 1975 at a James Robison Crusade in my hometown, El Dorado, AR. I attended New Creation Bible Training Center in 1987 at my local church. I have a degree of Associate in Theology from In Christ International Bible College (Mark Hankins Ministry) through their correspondence program.
I love to minister the Word of God and I recently authored my first book, Skillful Prayer (available on Amazon). I’m currently writing my second book, A New Creation. Although I’ve been saved for almost a half-century, I don’t feel I have come to full fruition in my calling and God’s plan for me. It seems slow in coming but I know it is for the appointed time.
Over the past twenty years I have been widowed twice and have gone through indescribable loss of two of my four sons. Without God’s enduring love and goodness, I would have lost hope and given up. Yet, I do not grieve like one who has no hope; for to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. For I am convinced that not even death can separate me from the love of God.
Sandy Johnson graduated from Fort Wayne Bible College with a degree in Missions. She spent time in both Mexico and Guatemala as a missionary before returning to work at her church’s Christian School. She also worked at Fort Wayne Rescue Mission, where she ministered to women and children experiencing a homeless crisis. For the past ten years, she and her husband ministered at International Gospel Center in Tulsa, where she also served as administrator for Women’s International Network. Upon her husband’s passing, she returned to her home state of Indiana. She continues to work part-time for WIN as administrator. She is a published author and is currently working on two more books.
