The literacy rate for adults in Liberia is only 42.9% and even lower when you research inland areas of the nation. There is no public education in Liberia. All schools are private and require parents to pay school fees. Even when the fees are low, parents in this impoverished nation often cannot finance the education of their children.
Look at this! ONE CHURCH, under the leadership of Apostle Axe Freeman has built ONE SCHOOL, Excel Christian Academy in Monrovia, Liberia. This school takes children from Kindergarten to the eighth grade. The education is FREE. The books are FREE. Breakfast and lunch are FREE. The uniforms are FREE. The children walk to school in their beautiful uniforms, just as the children of parents who can afford school fees. DIGNITY is given to these little ones.
Our ministry is connected to quality global ministries that are rescuing street children, loving orphans, providing for widows, ministering to prisoners, educating the children and youth and doing the love-work of Jesus among the unreached and underprivileged.
